Interview with Katsuya Arai : Frank Scott: What is the main principle, idea and inspiration behind your design?. Katsuya Arai : I was thinking how can I show funny expression darken in geometric modeling and the beautiful curve of the family crest of Japan daily. I also was thinking links with Alphabet and its crest and produce a new representation method. .Frank Scott: What has been your main focus in designing this work? Especially what did you want to achieve?. Katsuya Arai : A new representation method of the fusion of the modeling of Japan's crest and Alphabet showing current progressive form of "Japaneseness". .Frank Scott: What are your future plans for this award winning design?. Katsuya Arai : My aim to raise up other brother brand products, not only Ampang also expand.
